Timothy Boire

Timothy Boire has a diverse work experience ranging from roles as President and CEO at VenoStent, Inc. to serving as a Graduate Research Assistant in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University. Timothy also worked as a Pre-doctoral Research Fellow at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, served as President at the Life Science Tennessee Academic Alliance, and worked as an Entrepreneurial Lead at NSF I-Corps. Additionally, Timothy gained valuable experience in their role as a Research Associate in the Purification Process Research Department at Genzyme, where they streamlined early-stage research and supported manufacturing efforts. Timothy also served as an Immunotherapy Intern at Genzyme, gaining experience in experimental design and characterizing a human IgG-IRDye conjugate for imaging purposes.

Timothy Boire completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical & Biological Engineering and Biotechnology at Tufts University from 2004 to 2008. Timothy then pursued further education at Vanderbilt University, where they earned both their Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Biomedical Engineering. This accomplishment took place between 2011 and 2017.
