Chris Nichols

Chris Nichols has extensive experience in the construction industry, currently serving as a Senior Estimator at Ventana Construction Corporation since June 2014, where responsibilities have included providing project direction, maintaining client relationships, negotiating sub-contracts, and managing project schedules and costs. Prior to this role, Chris worked as an Estimator, Pre-Construction Coordinator, and Project Coordinator at the same company. Additionally, Chris has academic experience as an Instructor and Instructor Assistant at BCIT, teaching courses on basic estimating and construction estimating from September 2015 to April 2020. Earlier experience includes serving as a Foreman and Lead Carpenter at Can-Swiss Contracting from April 2006 to August 2012. Chris holds degrees in Architectural and Building Technology and Carpentry from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, as well as a degree in Jazz Studies from Capilano University.
