David MacLennan has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. David started their career at Transparent Solutions Corp. as a Support Specialist, where they gained skills in workstation deployments, documentation generation, and maintaining client relationships. David then moved on to Nucleus Networks Inc. as a Support Specialist, handling technical requests and incidents across different regions. David further expanded their knowledge at Sophos as a Technical Support Engineer, providing support for network and security solutions to a global customer base. Currently, they are working at Ventana Construction Corporation as a Team Lead, Technology Operations, responsible for managing technology operations and serving as a network administrator.
David MacLennan's education history includes a Certificate in Network Administration and Security Professionals (NASP) from the British Columbia Institute of Technology in 2017, an Associates Certificate in Network Administration Technician (NAT) from the same institute from 2015-2016, and completion of the Industry Certified ACE-IT: Digital Sound Production Program from Burnaby North Secondary in 2014-2015. David obtained their High School Diploma from Moscrop Secondary in 2009-2014. In addition, David has obtained several certifications including MCP: Microsoft Certified Professional - 70-740 from Microsoft, Security+ 401 from CompTIA, Cisco Certified Network Associate (R&S) from Cisco, and Linux+ from CompTIA, all in 2017.
