Senior Director - Project Leader Companion Diagnostics at Ventana Medical Systems

Bryan Roland has a diverse work experience in the healthcare and biotechnology industry. Bryan started their career at Starks Associates Inc. as a Research Chemist from 2003 to 2007. Bryan then joined AsisChem, where they served as the Business Development Manager from 2007 to 2009, and later as the Director of Project Management from 2009 to 2011. Currently, they are employed at Ventana Medical Systems as the Senior Director - Project Leader Companion Diagnostics, where they have held various roles since 2010. As Director of Companion Diagnostics, they led a team of two Project Leaders and managed the VENTANA PDL1(SP263) assay and the VENTANA MMR Panel, which involved over 100 team members and a yearly budget of $15M. Bryan'steams achieved regulatory approvals in the US, EMA, and Asia geographies, including FDA approval of MMR Panel for Pan-Tumor indication.

Bryan Roland obtained a Ph.D in Chemistry from the University of Arizona in the period from 1998 to 2003. Following that, they pursued an MBA in Business Administration and Management, General from the University at Buffalo School of Management, The State University of New York, completing it between 2004 and 2006. Prior to their Ph.D program, they obtained their B.A. in Chemistry from The College of Wooster from 1994 to 1998.

Furthermore, Bryan Roland obtained a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in February 2012.
