Gianni Ferreri is an experienced leader in product development and scientific research, currently serving as Product Development Lead at Roche since March 2014, focusing on advanced ISH and IHC assays for automated slide staining platforms. Previously, Gianni held various positions at 454 Life Sciences from April 2008 to December 2013, including Group Leader and Senior Scientist, where responsibilities included managing third generation sequencing projects, coordinating collaborations, and leading technical developments. Gianni's early career involved academic roles at the University of Connecticut, earning a Ph.D. in Genetics and a BS in Molecular and Cell Biology, while also serving as an instructor and research assistant.
