Atharva Ponkshe

Atharva Ponkshe has five years of work experience in the field of semiconductor engineering. Atharva is currently a Staff Engineer at Ventana Micro Systems since 2021. Prior to that, they were a Design Verification Engineer at Marvell Semiconductor from 2019 to 2021. Atharva was a Corporate Application Engineer at Mentor Graphics from 2018 to 2019. Atharva also worked as a Hardware Engineer/Researcher Intern at Galois, Inc. from 2018 to 2019, where they conducted research on RISC-V hardware implementations and open source tool flows as part of a DARPA project on hardware and firmware security. Atharva also alpha-tested a verification suite released by Bluespec, Inc. on Xilinx Kintex kc705 FPGA evaluation kit. Before that, they were a Hardware Intern at HDL Express from 2017 to 2018.

Atharva Ponkshe has a Master of Science (MS) in Electrical & Computer Engineering from Portland State University (2015-2017) and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from University of Mumbai (2011-2015). Atharva also has certifications in Data Communication from Centre for Excellence in Telecom Technology and Management (July 2014), Front End VLSI Design from Mr. Hardik Shah (MS-VLSI) (April 2013), and Adult First Aid/CPR/AED for workplace from American Red Cross (March 2016).
