Ventana Micro Systems
Greg Favor has over 35 years of experience in the technology industry, beginning in 1983 as a Design Engineer at Zilog. Greg then worked as a Senior Design Engineer at Nexgen Microsystems from 1987 to 1989, before founding and becoming Chief Architect at Tera Microsystems. In 1992, they joined AMD as a Senior Fellow and then moved to Redback Networks in 2000 as a Processor Architect. In 2005, they founded and became the Chief Architect at Montalvo Systems, before joining AppliedMicro in 2017 as a Senior Fellow. In 2018, they worked as a Consultant at Stealth, and in 2019 they became the Co-Founder and CTO of Ventana Micro Systems, where they are currently developing high-performance RISC-V compute solutions.
Greg Favor completed a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering at Caltech between 1979 and 1983.
