Alexander Rivas

Alexander Rivas is an experienced UX Research Lead at Ventera since October 2022, having previously held the position of Senior User Experience Researcher at YZ Designworks from March to September 2022. Prior to that, Alexander served as an Assistant Project Manager and Cultural Resources Specialist at Trileaf Corporation from October 2020 to September 2022. Alexander's background includes a role as GIS Research Manager at NGO Salinas de los Nueve Cerros from July 2015 to August 2020, and as a Graduate Research Project Manager and Instructor at Washington University in St. Louis from August 2014 to August 2020. Alexander's earlier experience includes working as a Graduate Researcher and Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida from August 2011 to July 2014, and as a Senior Supervisor for the UCF Caracol Archaeological Project from February 2009 to March 2014. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Anthropology from Washington University in St. Louis, earned between 2014 and 2020, an MA in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida from 2011 to 2014, and a BA in Anthropology from the University of Central Florida from 2007 to 2010.
