Sebastian Schnorf has extensive work experience in UX research and management roles. Sebastian is currently working as the Strategic UX Research Lead at GetYourGuide since November 2022. Prior to that, they were associated with Google for several years, where they held various positions such as Staff Researcher & Research Manager in Commerce / Shopping, Senior UX Researcher & Research Lead for Shopping Brands, Senior UX Researcher & Team Manager in Privacy, Security & Trust, Senior User Experience Researcher in Privacy, and User Experience Researcher in Privacy. Sebastian also worked in Ni3 AG (Life Science Start-up) as the Manager of Expert Services, leading projects for big pharmaceutical companies. Sebastian started their career at Harvard University as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Computational Social Science. Sebastian's early experience includes working at Swisscom as the Deputy Head of UX / Project Lead / Analyst, and at localsearch as a UX Designer.

Sebastian Schnorf has a diverse education history spanning several prestigious institutions. Sebastian first attended the SAE Institute UK in 1998, where they studied multimedia production for a brief period. In 1999, they enrolled at the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland FHNW and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interaction Design in 2002. Following this, they pursued their academic career at the University of Zurich from 2000 to 2008, earning a Master's degree and a PhD in Communication Sciences. In 2008, Sebastian Schnorf pursued further education at Harvard University, focusing on post-doctoral studies in Computational Social Sciences from 2008 to 2010. Recently, Sebastian Schnorf has undertaken an Executive MBA program at IMD from 2018 to 2021.
