Matthew Tang is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in commercial litigation and strategic advisory roles. Currently serving as a Strategic Advisor at Venteur since October 2020, Matthew provides strategic and legal guidance for an InsurTech startup, focusing on product development, risk management, and business planning. As Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes since October 2018, Matthew manages high-stakes commercial litigation involving catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases, drafting pleadings and motions for both state and federal courts. Prior experience includes work as an Associate Attorney at Newmeyer & Dillion LLP, focusing on complex construction defect matters, and at McNamara Law Firm, where Matthew represented a diverse range of clients in insurance defense. Matthew holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA.
