Hugh Vartanian

Hugh Vartanian is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in various roles spanning over three decades. Currently serving as an EE Consultant at VentriFlo, Inc. since June 2020, Vartanian has previously held significant positions, including Principal Electrical Engineer at Roche from January 2014 to February 2020, and Principal at Hephaestus Engineering, LLC from January 2007 to December 2013. Additional roles include Engineering Consultant at Diagnostic Vision Corporation, Consultant at BioScale, Inc., and Director of Engineering at Primera Biosystems, Inc. Vartanian started a career in engineering at Wang Laboratories and spent over thirteen years as Manager of Hardware Engineering at Cytyc Corporation. Vartanian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University, earned between 1974 and 1978. Expertise encompasses electrical and system engineering, embedded processors, motion control, fluidics, laboratory instrumentation, and medical device development, along with proven project management skills.
