Kristen Torres, M.S., LMFT, is a seasoned mental health professional currently serving as a Senior Crisis Team Clinician and Behavioral Health Clinician III at Ventura County Behavioral Health since March 2019. With a solid background in marriage and family therapy, Kristen previously held positions as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Roundtable Counseling, Inc., and as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist at Balance Treatment Center. Kristen's experience encompasses intensive group psychotherapy for various age groups, individual counseling, and clinical case management in acute psychiatric settings. Kristen holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from California Lutheran University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from San Francisco State University.
