Heather Lam is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in public safety and program management. Since July 2018, Heather Lam has been serving as a Public Safety Dispatcher at the Ventura County Fire Department. Prior to this role, Heather Lam worked as a Program Manager at LAM Treatment Alliance from August 2011 to October 2014. The Ventura County Fire Department (VCFD) is an all-hazard, full-service agency with more than 580 dedicated men and women. VCFD proudly provides fire protection, medical aid, rescue, hazardous materials response, and a variety of other services to the public. Formed in 1928 as a special district, VCFD serves more than 480,000 citizens in unincorporated areas of Ventura County. Our response area covers 848 square miles, including the following cities: Ojai, Port Hueneme, Moorpark, Camarillo, Simi Valley and Thousand Oaks.
