Helen Joyce

Helen Joyce is a Resident Physician at Ventura County Medical Center & Santa Paula Hospital since June 2022, following a comprehensive medical education at UC Irvine School of Medicine, where a Doctor of Medicine degree was earned as part of the Program in Medical Education for the Latino Community (PRIME-LC). Previously, Helen served as a Spanish Medical Interpreter at Language World Services, Inc., providing vital interpretation services across multiple specialties in various Bay Area medical facilities. Experience also includes roles as an After-school Leader and Sports Instructor at Avenues: The World School, a Spanish Teacher at Brooklyn Beanstalk, a Yoga Instructor at FLY Yoga Arts, and a Dancer with Loom Ensemble. Educational qualifications encompass a Master of Public Health from UC Berkeley and a Bachelor's degree in Comparative Literature and Dance from Oberlin College.
