Ransom Slack

Ransom Slack has a long and diverse work experience in the food industry. Ransom started their career at Swift and Company in 1972, where they worked in accounting and production control before moving into foodservice sales. After leaving Swift and Company in 1981, they joined Bunge as a Regional Bulk Sales Manager, a role they held until 1989. During their time at Bunge, Ransom Slack gained experience in managing bulk sales operations. In 1989, they joined Ventura Foods as the VP Industrial Sales, specializing in vegetable oil sales to a national network of food and oleochemical customers. Ransom Slack's expertise includes working on special projects to meet customer requirements, particularly in Lauric oils like Coconut and Palm.

Ransom Slack attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga from 1970 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management and Operations with a focus on Business Administration, Management, and Operations. Additionally, from 1976 to 1978, they studied at Chattanooga State Technical Institute, specializing in Business and Production Engineering.
