Carlos Tavares

Carlos Tavares serves as Rig Maintenance Supervisor at Ventura Offshore since January 2024. With extensive experience in the energy sector, Carlos has been the CEO of iLeaf Smart Solutions, overseeing solar energy projects and technical feasibility assessments since August 2015. Previously, Carlos held multiple roles at Seadrill from December 2017 to January 2024, including Energy Efficiency Coach, where responsibilities involved promoting energy efficiency plans, and Senior Electrician, supervising electrical installations and maintenance. Earlier positions included Maintenance Supervisor and Electrical Supervisor at Schahin Oil & Gas, where oversight of various technical departments and compliance with safety regulations were key duties. Carlos began a career in electrical maintenance with Transocean and has worked in various locations including Brazil, Egypt, and India.
