Catherine Thung

Catherine Thung has extensive experience in finance and business management. Catherine currently holds the position of Finance Director, Business at Venture Corporation Limited since March 2022. Prior to this, they worked at ABB where they held multiple roles including Lead Business Controller, APAC, Motion, and Country CFO. Catherine also served as the Hub Business Controller, Oil, Gas and Chemicals at ABB. Before joining ABB, Catherine worked as the Group Financial Controller at Nordic Group Limited and as the Group Finance Manager at Technics Oil & Gas Limited. Catherine also gained experience as a Finance Manager at Frasers Commercial Trust and as an Audit Senior at RSM Chio Lim LLP, Singapore. Catherine's professional experience spans from 2004 to the present day.

Catherine Thung completed their Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University Singapore in the years 2001 to 2004. Catherine also pursued a Finance Leadership Program in IMD starting in 2019. Prior to that, they attended Raffles Institution for Commerce in 1999 and 2000. Additionally, Catherine Thung holds a certification as a Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA).
