Mary E. Walls

Mary E. Walls has a diverse work experience in community outreach, business development, and public engagement. Mary E. started their career in 2009 as a Program Development and Volunteer Coordinator at the American Red Cross. From 2011 to 2014, they worked as a Community Outreach and Business Development Specialist at The Center for Hospice and Palliative Care. In 2014, they became the Manager of Patient Access, Education, and Advocacy at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Mary then worked as a Public Engagement Professional and Facilitator as an independent contractor from July 2015 to November 2015. Mary E. also held various roles at Venture Forthe Inc., including Intake & Outreach Coordinator/Business Development from November 2015 to May 2017, and Director of Community Outreach and Business Development from May 2017 to June 2018. Most recently, Mary served as the Assistant Director of Community Outreach and Business Development at Venture Forthe Inc. from March 2019 to the present. In this role, they led business development initiatives, established partnerships to increase referrals, and educated the community on the mission and services of Venture Forthe.

Mary E. Walls pursued their Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Political Science and Government from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Mary E. completed this program between the years 2004 and 2007. Afterward, they continued their education at the same institution and obtained a Master's degree with a specialization in Urban Planning and Community Development between 2007 and 2009.
