Analyst, Business Intelligence

Venture Global LNG (“Venture Global”) is a long-term, low-cost provider of American-produced liquefied natural gas. The company’s two Louisiana-based export projects service the global demand for North American natural gas and support the long-term development of clean and reliable North American energy supplies. Using reliable, proven technology in an innovative plant design configuration, Venture Global’s modular, mid-scale plant design will replace traditional designs as it allows for the same efficiency and operational reliability at significantly lower capital cost.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to act int he role of Business Analyst, to support the company’s growing IT Operation’s needs. Highly organized and confident in ability to coordinate projects within set deadlines, organizing and coordinating meetings. Ongoing cooperation with other departments and a range of internal and external stakeholders. This role will work with multiple technologies to address challenging IT issues in fast-paced, dynamic, and rapid-growth environment. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships throughout IT, while delivering timely, viable solutions. This position is based in the Arlington, Virginia office.

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day aspects of IT Operations projects (may include multiple projects) with regard to scope, schedule, resources and budget
• Participate in planning with IT Operations
• Provide customer input represented in both technical and business terms with descriptive requirements to ensure the value of the project is realized
• Create end user and internal IT Operations team documentation
• Create and drive project plans to optimize resources
• Coordinate activities of sub-teams
• Document and communicate status, issues, and risks in a timely manner to project team and senior management
• Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
• Manage project issues to resolution
• Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
• Serve as the first point of escalation for the project team
• Build strong relationships between various IT teams
• Ability to clearly & concisely communicate complex information to disparate audiences.
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

• 3  years’ experience (or less) in IT focused projects or equivalent required.
• Outstanding oral & written communications skills and an ability to articulate complex information in a simplified manner.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in an extremely fast-paced environment.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
• Experience with Project Management software, preferably Celoxis.
