Mike Shanahan

Mike Shanahan serves as the Chief Financial Officer at Venture Guides since March 2023 and as a Strategic Advisor at Healthrageous LLC, a company focused on innovative healthy meal solutions for Medicare Advantage clients, starting in January 2021. Since 2014, Mike Shanahan has held the position of Chairman & CEO at Essex Media Group, overseeing numerous publications including the Daily Item and various local weeklies. As Managing Partner and Founder of Egan Managed Capital since February 1997, Mike Shanahan has co-founded venture capital funds totaling $232 million, investing in 43 early-stage technology companies. Previously, Mike Shanahan was the CFO and SVP of Operations at SevOne from 2014 to 2018, contributing to substantial company growth. Additionally, Mike Shanahan has served on the boards of several companies, including Vivify, AppNeta, HighRoads, and Whaleback Managed Services. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics from the College of the Holy Cross.
