Newton Davis is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and counsel. Currently serving as a Legal Guide at Venture Guides since January 2023, Newton previously held the position of VP & General Counsel at Turbonomic from February 2014 to February 2022, where responsibilities included overseeing legal matters during the company's growth and acquisition by IBM. Prior to that, Newton was a Partner at Bingham McCutchen LLP, specializing in mergers & acquisitions and strategic transactions for notable corporate clients and venture capital firms. Additional experience includes roles as an Associate at Debevoise & Plimpton and Coudert Brothers. Newton holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a B.S. in Russian from Georgetown University.
