Vondell Brown

Chief Operating Officer at Venture Noire

Vondell Brown has extensive work experience in various leadership roles. They most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at Venture Noire since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at the Wounded Warrior Project, starting as an Alumni Manager in February 2013 and later becoming the Alumni Director in April 2017. In these roles, Vondell was responsible for managing staff, overseeing the Alumni engagement program, and organizing events for veterans and their families. Before joining the Wounded Warrior Project, Vondell served as an Operations Manager at the Army Wounded Warrior Program from April 2011 to April 2013, where they developed and analyzed programs to ensure Soldiers and Veterans received their eligible benefits. They also held leadership positions in the US Army Garrison and the Warrior Transition Unit, serving as an Operations Sergeant Major and a First Sergeant, respectively. Vondell's work experience in leadership and supporting veterans highlights their expertise in program management, strategic planning, and team collaboration.

Vondell Brown pursued their education at the University of Arkansas Grantham. From 2005 to 2008, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Project Management. Subsequently, from 2009 to 2012, they obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Performance Improvement from the same university.
