Yoko Okano

Yoko Okano is a Founding Partner at First Row Partners, specializing in investments within pre-seed technology companies focused on transforming data, technology, and knowledge dynamics. Okano also serves as a Scout at Crosscut Ventures and a Lecturer at the University of Washington, teaching a course on venture execution and planning. As an Advisory Board Member for Find Ventures, Okano supports early-stage funding initiatives aimed at empowering entrepreneurs. An active angel investor since 2015, Okano has held various roles, including Fund Manager for the Seattle Angel Conference, where responsibilities included onboarding investors and organizing pitch sessions. Okano's prior experience includes serving as an Advisor and Director of Product at Actively Learn, as well as product marketing at Smartwhere. Yoko Okano holds a B.A. in Music History from Stanford University.
