Venture Outdoors
Edith Lloyd-Etuwewe is a dedicated professional with a diverse background in community service and education. Currently serving as a Traditional Midwife at Mercy in Action College of Midwifery since October 2021, Edith also holds positions as a Library Clerk at Carnegie Library of Pittsburgh, supporting local families and community events, and as a Teacher Counselor at Familylinks, Inc., providing guidance to at-risk teens. Additionally, as a Trip Leader Specialist at Venture Outdoors, Edith promotes outdoor activities and engagement. Previous experience includes serving as an Outreach Coordinator for both AmeriCorps and Reading Is Fundamental, focusing on literacy and educational activities for children in various neighborhoods. Edith holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology/Pre-Medicine from the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford, completed in 2016.
