Fathima Shaikh currently serves as EECS Course Staff at UC Berkeley for CS61A, the largest introductory computer science course, while also working as a Smart Grid Intern at Elevate, where data analysis using Python aims to enhance energy efficiency for 30,000 residents in the Chicagoland area. Additional roles include Director of Alumni Relations for CS Kickstart, Director of Entrepreneurship for Muslims of Haas, and Consultant for Venture Strategy Solutions at Berkeley. Recently, Fathima completed an internship as a Software Engineer at Motorola Solutions, where C2PA technology was developed to verify the authenticity of audio and video recordings. As a Money Mentor with the Economic Awareness Council, Fathima has delivered financial education to over 8,000 youth, and served as a Community Builder for BETA Camp, managing operations for 130-plus campers. Previous leadership as President and Vice President of On The Money Magazine focused on financial literacy initiatives, significantly increasing engagement and sales. Fathima Shaikh holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley.
