Derek Te-Kang Ma

Derek has a Master of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship degree from the Smith School of Business, Queen’s University. Prior to joining ventureLAB, Derek has experience in the corporate and startup world, focusing on business development and partnerships. In addition, Derek co-founded a website builder startup during the pandemic, and it was a challenging but rewarding experience, especially building something from scratch. Derek joins ventureLAB as the Business Development Manager, Private Sector Partnerships.
