Jesse Flanagan

Jesse Flanagan serves as the Director of Global Venture Programs at VentureWell since March 2022, leading a global portfolio that supports early-stage ventures, particularly in the Global South, through program design, implementation, coaching, and mentoring. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Program Officer at Frontier Design and various positions at One Acre Fund, culminating as Country Director, where responsibilities included innovation management. Jesse Flanagan has also evaluated funding proposals for early-stage social enterprises as a judge for the Social Entrepreneurship Competition and served as a Spanish interpreter in medical settings. Academic qualifications include a Master’s of Public Policy from the Humphrey School of Public Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Trinity International University.
