Marcos Mendes do Rego

Marcos Mendes do Rego has extensive work experience in the technology industry. Marcos Mendes started their career as a Trainee & Jr. Developer at Atak Sistemas in 1999 and worked there until 2001. From 2001 to 2003, they were a Systems Analyst at Thomson Reuters Brasil, where they gained experience as a Jr. Software Developer for Foreign Trade applications.

In 2004, they joined Matera Systems as a Tester and worked there until 2008. During their time there, they gained valuable experience in software testing.

In 2008, Marcos joined Venturus as a Senior Test Analyst. Marcos Mendes was responsible for testing Sony Ericsson's mobile apps and also had the opportunity to work at Sony Ericsson's headquarters in Lund, Sweden for five weeks. Marcos Mendes then became the Test Team Lead, responsible for ensuring the quality of all Android apps developed by the Venturus team for the Compal customer.

In 2013, Marcos transitioned into a Project Manager role at Venturus. Marcos Mendes managed projects related to Ingenico payment terminals, including POS, PinPad, and mPOS. Marcos Mendes led a team of over 25 collaborators and actively prospect new projects and customers for the company.

In 2021, Marcos was promoted to Development Manager at Venturus, where they continued to contribute to the success of the company. Finally, in 2022, they became the Operations Manager, further showcasing their leadership and management skills.

Marcos Mendes do Rego obtained their Technologist's degree in Data Processing from the Universidade Estadual de Maringá from 1997 to 1999. Marcos Mendes then pursued an MBA in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2003 to 2004.
