Tanya Kraege has a diverse work experience in the field of substance abuse prevention and recovery. Tanya is currently a Co-Founder at Ventus Rex, a recovery pathways platform provider. Previously, they worked at Safe Communities as a Drug Poisoning Prevention Team Supervisor and Program Coordinator, where they supervised the Preg2Rec program and piloted innovative and evidence-based programs to address the opioid epidemic. Tanya also served as a Supervisor of the Drug Poison Prevention Team at the SAFE COMMUNITY COALITION OF MADISON AND DANE COUNTY INC, where they supervised three recovery coach projects. Before that, they worked as a Crisis Clinician at JOURNEY MENTAL HEALTH, handling assessments and providing support to individuals with mental health and substance use disorders. Tanya started their career as a Substance Abuse Counselor at Madison Health Services, where they provided evidence-based interventions and coordinated the peer review board for individuals and families affected by OUD.

Tanya Kraege holds a Master's degree in Social Work with a specialization in Clinical/Medical Social Work from George Williams College. The exact timeframe of their education is unknown.
