Vasilii Netesov

Vasilii Netesov has extensive work experience in the renewable energy and project development sector. Vasilii started their career as an Engineer at Addix Internet Services GmbH, where they implemented renewable energy solutions for telecommunication towers in Northern Germany. Vasilii then worked as a Project Engineer at Bredero Shaw, where they contributed to various engineering projects, including Shtokmann and South Stream pipe lines.

After that, Vasilii became a self-employed Independent Business Owner, managing their own ventures. Subsequently, they joined Ventus as a Renewable Energy Engineer, responsible for analyzing wind and solar resources for the company's projects in Latin America. Vasilii evaluated resource potential and optimized the cost of energy for over 4,100 MW of wind projects, working with multiple manufacturers.

During their time at Ventus, Vasilii progressed to become the Renewable Resource Department Manager, leading a team across three countries. Vasilii designed and implemented measurement campaigns using LiDAR sensors to evaluate renewable resources. Later on, they took on the role of LATAM Manager for the O&M and Renewable Resource Departments, overseeing ISO9001 procedures and developing new businesses in Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Uruguay.
