Christina Christianson has a diverse work experience in the field of biology and translational science. Christina is currently serving as the Director of Biology and Translational Science at Ventyx Biosciences since July 2022. Prior to this, they held the position of Director In Vivo Pharmacology at Ferring Pharmaceuticals from September 2021 to July 2022, where they were responsible for managing a team and coordinating studies for multiple projects. Before that, Christina worked at Ferring Pharmaceuticals as a Senior Scientist (2020-2021), Scientist 2 (2017-2020), and Scientist 1 (2014-2017). Christina gained extensive expertise in a mouse model of chronic asthma and the role of innate lymphoid cells in asthma during their tenure as a Postdoctoral Researcher at National Jewish Health from June 2011 to March 2014. Christina started their career as a Research Assistant at the University of Rochester Medical Center from May 2004 to August 2006.
Christina Christianson completed their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry from the University of Rochester between 2002 and 2006. Following that, they pursued their Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology from UC San Diego, which they completed between 2006 and 2011.
