Joel Duffin

Joel Duffin has extensive experience in business development and event management. Joel started their career as a Free Lance Event Organiser/Promoter in 2014, organizing events such as The Lee Thompson Ska Orchestra. Joel then worked as an Ambassador for ticket sales at Outlook Festival before joining Elastic in 2013 as a Production Executive, where they organized experiential campaigns, live events, exhibitions, and conferences. In 2015, Joel co-founded Groove Lab Events, a House and Techno Night, and served as a Co-Founder, leading a team through the entire production process and managing marketing activities. From 2019 to 2020, they worked as an Account Manager/Entertainment Producer at Sternberg Clarke Entertainment, handling and overseeing event enquiries for high-profile venues and handling upselling of entertainment. Joel then joined Bluetownonline Ltd in 2021 as a Business Development Manager and later as a Senior Business Development Manager. Currently, they are working at VenueScanner as a Corporate Account Manager and is set to become a Business Development Manager in April 2023.

Joel Duffin completed their Level 3 Diploma in Live Events and Promotion, with a focus on the principles of the creative and cultural sector, at BCE, Big Creative Education from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended Chancellors School, although no specific degree or field of study was mentioned for this period.
