Josh Camp has worked in the engineering field since 2007. Josh began their career at ExxonMobil as a Summer Intern in 2007 and 2008, and then as an Instructor at Texas A&M University in 2011. In the same year, they also worked as a Research Associate at Exosent Engineering. In 2012, they were an Intern at GE. From 2013 to 2021, they worked at Halliburton in various roles such as Product Champion - Automation and Digital, Production Enhancement, Project Lead - Production Enhancement R&D, Principal Technical Professional - Production Enhancement R&D, and Senior Technical Professional - Production Enhancement R&D. Currently, they are working at Venus Aerospace as the Director of Vehicle Engineering, Manager of Vehicle Engineering and IT, and Principal DevOps & Aerodynamics Engineer.

Josh Camp completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University between 2004 and 2009. Josh then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2009 and 2011. Following this, they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University between 2011 and 2013. In 2017, they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Houston with a focus on Marketing and Finance. Josh Camp also attended OU/OSU Executive Education Partnership Program and Texas A&M University's Mays Business School, Center for Executive Education.
