Patrick Dean

Patrick Dean started their work experience in 2000 as a Senior Technical Designer for Anne Taylor Loft, specializing in outerwear. Patrick then moved on to Liz Claiborne Suit division of Kellwood in 2004, where they worked as a Senior Technical Designer for tailored suits. In 2008, they joined White House Black Market Div. Chicos FAS as a Senior Technical Designer for ladies jackets and outerwear. Patrick was promoted to the position of Director of Technical Design and Quality Control at VENUS Fashion Inc. in 2017. Throughout their career, Patrick has demonstrated expertise in fit, construction, and pre-production technical design, as well as garment inspection and measurement. Patrick is experienced in managing in-house pattern makers and sample makers, specifying internal trim components, and overseeing garment grading. Patrick has a strong eye for detail, color, fabric, silhouette, construction, and garment quality. Patrick has also implemented new processes to improve workflow and efficiency, trained vendors, and collaborated with various teams within the companies they have worked for.
