National Director, Food & Beverage Services at Venuworks

Chris Carton possesses extensive experience in the food and beverage industry, currently serving as Vice President of Food & Beverage Services at VenuWorks since July 2010, where responsibilities have included roles as National Director and Director of Food & Beverage operations, particularly at The RiverCenter and The Adler Theatre in Davenport, IA. Prior experience includes serving as a Culinary Arts Instructor at Eastern Iowa Community College District from August 1997 to April 2023, and as Culinary Services Director at BMA Senior Living Communities, overseeing dining for senior assisted living residents. Additional roles include Executive Chef at The Mark of the Quad Cities and Executive Sous Chef at both John Q. Hammons Hotels and Resorts and Yellowstone National Park. Chris Carton holds educational credentials from The Culinary Institute of America, Columbia College Chicago, and Hamilton Technical College.
