Lauren Shapiro

Lauren Shapiro is an experienced professional in engineering and product management, currently serving at Venyooz since 2012. Previous roles include founding and managing Common Room in 2010-2011, directing communications for Friends of Cancer Research from 2007 to 2008, and leading the campaign for Ben for Congress in 2006. Lauren also served as Communications Director/Press Secretary for Representative Anna Eshoo from 2005 to 2006, and held positions at Mindshare Interactive Campaigns and Shopzilla earlier in the career. Educational qualifications include a degree from Harvard University (2008-2010) and a BA in Political Science and Public Policy from the University of California, Berkeley. Additionally, Lauren was a Hansard Scholar at The London School of Economics and Political Science.
