Micael Skovmark

Micael Skovmark has a diverse range of work experience in the IT industry, government agencies, and small and medium-sized businesses. Micael has held various roles including Director at VENZO, where they demonstrated a strong track record in leading employees and implementing large IT projects. Prior to this, they were the Head of Security and Quality at CardCoin Systems, ensuring compliance with ISO quality standards and overseeing the development of a Quality Information Management System. Micael also served as the COO and Managing Director of the card division at CardCoin Systems, with responsibilities including sales, marketing, finance, and back office. Before joining CardCoin, Micael was the General Manager of I.L.KortSystemer, where they led a small team and also served as a Project Manager. Micael began their career in sales at Okholm Foto.

Micael Skovmark's education history includes a variety of degrees and certifications. Micael attended Avedøre Gymnasium from 1990 to 1992 and completed their senior high school studies there. In 1993, they enrolled in Okholm Foto and obtained a degree in photography, specifically in the field of study of Photographix, which they completed in 1996. Micael then pursued further education at Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained a degree in HD (HD 1. del) from 2008 to 2010 and a degree in Management Accounting & Process Management (HD) from 2010 to 2012.

Additionally, Micael Skovmark has acquired several certifications. In March 2019, they completed an Auditorkursus in Informationssikkerhed (ISO27001:2017) at DNV GL. In April 2021, they obtained the OneTrust Certified Privacy Professional certification from OneTrust. Most recently, in May 2023, they completed a diplomkursus at Dansk Standard called "Bliv klar til NIS2 med ISO/IEC 27001."
