Phil Walder

Phil Walder is an experienced engineering and project management professional currently serving as the Energy Projects Construction Team Manager at Veolia UK since June 2017, where responsibilities include leading projects aimed at decarbonising high energy use facilities. Previous positions at Veolia include Head of Projects for Industrial & Commercial and Deputy Head of Construction, as well as Head of Operations for Cynergin, managing energy reduction solutions. Prior to Veolia, Phil worked at Tamar Energy Ltd as a Project Engineer, evolving with the company through various phases of project development and operation, and at Bechtel Corporation in multiple roles including Area Engineering Manager and Chief Mechanical Engineer, overseeing significant oil, gas, and chemicals projects. Phil holds a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Southampton.
