Rick Sherman has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Rick currently holds the position of Vice President of Sales and Business Development at Veolia North America since 2023. In this role, they lead the teams in the Sustainable Buildings Group within North America, working towards solutions in energy, water, and waste management.

Earlier in their career, Rick held positions at Siemens as a General Manager, overseeing the performance contracting division in Northern and Central California and Nevada, and at Johnson Controls as a Regional Manager, leading service divisions for building automation, mechanical maintenance, fire, and life safety teams in various locations.

Rick's career started at Carrier HVAC, where they held progressively increasing positions including mechanical system sales, operations, and management for commercial, industrial, and municipal clients in California. Rick gained extensive training and knowledge in commercial and industrial heating and air conditioning equipment and systems.

Rick Sherman has a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Engineering from California State University, Fresno.
