Johan Huijgen

Johan Huijgen is an accomplished IT and Cyber Security professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as the IT Director and Group Cyber Security Director at VEON since May 2017, Johan oversees critical IT projects and operations across multiple business applications and digital services for a customer base of 160 million. Johan also holds the position of Chairman of the VEON Joint Works Council and has previously contributed as an Advisory Council member. As the founder of Dolly Digital©, Johan focuses on wireless audio solutions based on Silent Disco technology. Past roles include Head of Group IT Infrastructure at Mediahuis nv, Head of IT at Quintet Private Bank, and IT Project Manager at Rabobank. Johan's educational background includes executive education from INSEAD, a degree in Communication Systems from HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, and ongoing cybersecurity studies at EC-Council University.
