Vikas Shetty

Vikas Shetty is an experienced Algorithm Developer currently working at Veoneer, focusing on first generation imaging radar since February 2023. Prior to this role, Vikas served as a Software Developer at Scantinel Photonics, where contributions included developing modules for first generation FMCW Lidar and working on signal processing, embedded systems, and visualization of 3D point clouds from December 2020 to January 2023. Vikas also completed a Master Thesis at Mercedes-Benz AG centered on Lidar-based environment perception and neural network training for 3D point cloud analysis. Additional experience includes internships and work placements at Magna International, involving real-time radar alignment algorithms and cloud services, and a software engineering position at Bosch India. Vikas holds a Master’s degree in Electrical and Information Technology from Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences and an Engineer's degree from N M A M Institute of Technology, NITTE.
