Sexual Assault Advocate Beeper Staff at Vera House, Inc.

Julene Cooney is a dedicated academic and advocate with extensive experience in research, teaching, and community support. Currently serving as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Syracuse University's Maxwell School since August 2017, Julene has also been involved as a Sexual Assault Advocate Beeper Staff at Vera House, Inc. since May 2015. Previous roles include Associate Dean of General Studies at ITT Technical Institute from 2009 to 2012 and Statistician - Quality Engineer at Intel from 1997 to 2002. Julene is pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy in Sociology at Syracuse University and holds a Master of Arts in Community and Economic Development from SUNY Empire State College, as well as a Master of Science in Statistics from Brigham Young University.
