Xiushi Z. is a skilled professional with extensive experience in advocacy and support for vulnerable populations. Currently serving as a Victim Advocate at Vera House, Inc. since August 2020, Xiushi Z. manages a substantial client caseload, providing essential advocacy, linkage to services, and emotional support. Previous roles include assisting clients with legal protections during an internship and supporting research in the Psychology Department at Syracuse University. Additional experience encompasses voter outreach during an election campaign, developing educational programs for youth, tutoring immigrant and refugee students, and providing guidance for adolescents facing substance abuse challenges. Xiushi Z. holds a Master's degree in Social Work from Syracuse University and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and Psychology, demonstrating a strong academic foundation in these fields.
