Edwin Lopez has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Edwin started their career in 2009 as a Teller at Hudson City Savings Bank, where they provided customer service and handled banking transactions. In 2010, they worked as a Furniture Supervisor/Driver/Assembler at W.B. Mason Company Inc., where they managed inventory and delivered furniture.

In 2011, Edwin worked as an Assistant Manager at Environmental Logistics Services LLC, where they maintained inventory records and facilitated truck parts procurement. Edwin then joined Tenafly Public Schools in 2013 as a Computer Technician, responding to hardware and software incidents and upgrading devices.

In 2015, Edwin became a Jr. Network Administrator at Marion P. Thomas Charter School, managing network devices and user accounts. Edwin later moved on to the Vera Institute of Justice in 2016 as an IT Support Specialist/Systems Administrator, providing technical support and administering network and system activities. Edwin was promoted to IT Manager in 2018, overseeing the IT infrastructure and implementing a new service management solution.

Currently, Edwin serves as the Associate Director of Operations and Infrastructure at Vera Institute of Justice, where they manage the planning, design, and development of LANs and WANs. Edwin also oversees the maintenance of network and security infrastructure, stays updated on technology advancements, and assists with hardware and software procurement.

Edwin Lopez graduated with an Associate's degree in Criminal Justice from Essex County College in 2014. Additionally, they obtained the certifications of ITIL v4 from PeopleCert in September 2023 and AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in January 2022.
