Eli Miller currently serves as a Research Analyst on the Reshaping Prosecutions team at the Vera Institute of Justice since April 2023. Previously, Eli worked as a Technical Research Assistant at MDRC, focusing on the efficacy of pretrial supervision programs in the Youth, Criminal Justice, and Employment Policy Area from August 2021 to March 2023. Eli's experience includes a fellowship at Williams College where research centered on population fluctuations in New York City’s jails during the coronavirus lockdown. Additional positions include Data Research Assistant at the Institute for the Quantitative Study of Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity, and Political Science Research Assistant at Williams College, contributing to studies on diversity and public-private partnerships, respectively. Eli also held the role of Campus Free Speech Intern at PEN America, assisting in research for a report on campus free speech. Eli earned a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and English from Williams College in 2021.
