Zak Kaufman

Zak Kaufman is the Co-founder and CEO of Vera Solutions. Zak is also a Global Shaper, Geneva Hub and a Research Fellow. Zak has worked as an HIV Prevention Technical Advisor and has been involved in study design, analysis, and write-up for a 3ie-funded cluster-randomized trial assessing the effect of intervention promoting uptake of voluntary medical male circumcision in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. Two papers from the trial were published in JAIDS in 2016.

Zak Kaufman has a PhD in Infectious Disease Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine at the University of London. Zak also has an MSc in Epidemiology from the same school, as well as a BA in Health and Society from Dartmouth College. In addition, they have completed a Global Health Short Course from the University of Oxford. Zak is also certified by Salesforce in Salesforce Certified Application Architect, Salesforce Certified Data Architect, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Sharing and Visibility Architect, Salesforce Certified Administrator (SCA), Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Force.com Developer.
