Sean Grant

Sean Grant is the CFO at Vera Therapeutics. Prior to joining Vera Therapeutics, Sean served as Vice President, Corporate Strategy & Business Development at CareDx, Inc. from May 2020 to July 2021. In this role, Sean led strategic planning and execution for M&A, venture investments and partnerships.

Prior to joining CareDx, Sean served as Vice President in the Investment Banking Healthcare Division at Citigroup Global Capital Markets from July 2015 to March 2020. During their time at Citigroup, Sean worked on a number of transactions, including the Gilead acquisition of Forty Seven for $4.9bn, the Eiger follow-on equity offering for $57mm, and the CymaBay follow-on equity offering for $115mm.

Sean began their career as a Spring Associate at NaviMed Capital in February 2015. Sean held this position until May 2015.

Sean Grant has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The Johns Hopkins University - Carey Business School with a focus in Entrepreneurship and Management. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Government and International Politics at George Mason University. Sean's educational career also includes a Spanish Language Immersion program at Universidad Complutense de Madrid where they studied Global Politics.
