Joe Saad

Joe Saad has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Joe began their career as a Software Engineer Trainee at Logica in 2003, where they modified a translation automation Customer Relation Management (CRM) solution for a Telecom Company. In 2006, they worked as a Program Analyst III at Mira International Foods Inc. In 2008, they served as a Web Developer at USA TODAY before transitioning to the role of Developer Analyst III at DSHS - Central Office. In this role, they analyzed project requirements, designed database systems, and managed UX development for accessibility purposes. Joe also developed reports for statistical analysis and implemented security measures to protect against SQL injection, Cross Site Scripting, spam issues, and user authentication breaches. Joe went on to work as a Senior UI/UX Developer at Reliant Energy from 2010 to 2015, where they contributed to the user interface and user experience development. Joe then worked as a UI Architect / Technical Lead at Halliburton from 2015 to 2016. After that, they served as a Technical Architect at Schlumberger for a few months in 2016. Joe then joined NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration as a Consulting Software Engineer / Project Lead from October 2016 to January 2017. Following that, they worked at Cisco as a Sr. Software Engineer / Technical Lead from March 2017 to October 2017. Currently, Joe is employed as a Sr. Software Engineer at Veracity Solutions.

Joe Saad completed their Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) degree in Computer Science from The American University in Cairo, from 1999 to 2004. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management, General from the University of Northern Virginia - Annandale, from 2007 to 2009.
