Humza Tahir is an accomplished professional with a robust background in software engineering and data science. Currently serving as a Principal Software Engineer (Machine Learning) and Principal Data Scientist at Veracode since August 2019, Humza has previously held roles as an Applied Data Scientist and Senior Data Analyst at Circle, where expertise involved building algorithms to combat fraud and account takeovers. Additional experience includes serving as Managing Partner at Clearchain Capital LLC, working as a Business Analyst at liwwa, Inc., interning in web development at Harvard University, and managing United 4 Social Change as Chief Operating Officer/Editor in Chief. Humza earned a Bachelor's degree in Social Studies with a secondary focus in Computer Science from Harvard University, and graduated as Salutatorian from Lakeland High School.
