Thomas Fahey

Thomas Fahey, CISSP, GCSA has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Thomas started their career as an Application Analyst at Duke Energy in 1982 and later moved to Wachovia, A Wells Fargo Company as an IT Engineer. In 1999, they joined Vanguard as a Software Architect and eventually transitioned to the role of IT Security Architect. After their tenure at Vanguard, Thomas worked as a Self-Employed Information Security Consultant and Security Instructor from 2016 to 2021. Thomas then joined Wells Fargo as an Information Security Consultant before taking on their current role as a Principal Customer Success Engineer at Veracode in 2021. Thomas brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the field of information security and has demonstrated their dedication to the industry throughout their career.

Thomas Fahey, CISSP, GCSA has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from North Carolina State University, which they obtained from 1975 to 1979. Thomas then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte from 1980 to 1982.

In terms of certifications, Thomas earned the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from CISSP Bootcamp in 2011. Additionally, they obtained the GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA) certification from GIAC Certifications in July 2020.
